English is a very scientific language. If something tastes good, then you could describe it as "tasty". If something has a milk like texture, then you could say, " it's milky." The list goes on … Now, even the word "if" could be turned into "iffy".
As you could imagine, a person or a situation with a lot of "ifs" cannot be a good thing. For example, we want to go on a boat trip next Friday, but the weather seems a bit iffy, that means the weather might turn bad on that day.
